As Lead Designer, I led the end-to-end development of Pokémon's automated retail system, focusing on enhancing the shopping experience for products on Pokémoncenter.com. Crafting an intuitive and engaging automated retail solution presented unique challenges, particularly in ensuring seamless interaction for a wide range of users. The design needed to prioritize accessibility, ensuring that individuals with disabilities could easily navigate and interact with the system, while simultaneously maintaining a user-friendly experience that was simple enough for children to understand and interact with comfortably. This required a thoughtful balance of clear visual cues, intuitive navigation, and adaptable user interfaces.
